Award Winning singer Marissa Mulder addresses the cliché,  "They don't write 'em like they used to,"  in an exciting show, Living Standards.  Marissa creates a thread of proof that if you know where to look, you'll find that songs are still written in the same old style and every bit as witty, elegant, touching, and intelligent as the Gershwin/Kern/Porter standards of days past.

Living Standards presents later entries to the Great American Songbook, written by living composers and lyricists, such as Oscar Winners, Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (LaLa Land), Francesca Blumenthal (Lies of Handsome Men), John Bucchino, Craig Carnelia, Grammy-Winning songwriter Julie Gold, Marcy Heisler, Zina Goldrich, Christine Lavin, Anaïs Mitchell, Randy Newman, Joni Mitchell and Tom Waits.

This show is highly entertaining and enjoyed by a wide range of generations and taste in music.
